Why Beyond Badminton?

Because Asians are only good at badminton.  Or that’s what some people seem to think.  We here at BBM beg to differ.  We aren’t just violin players, mathematicians, doctors, and delivery boys.

There are Asians and Asian Americans who are working hard to make a difference in the sports world—the Ichirio’s and Yao Ming’s, as well as up-and-comers who are ready to break down walls and kick some ass. We are dedicated to covering the people who are shattering stereotypes and paving the way for a new generation of Asian athletes.

BBM is written for sports fans, by sports fans.  We just happen to like being Asian, too.  Our goal is to inspire more Asians and Asian Americans to pursue their athletic dreams.  Because we are the changing face of sports.
