Several sites, including the Taipei Times and China Daily, have posted news that China’s number two tennis player Zheng Jie has decided to continue with self-management, having freed herself from the management of the China Tennis Association.
Zheng, who was ranked 35th in the world last year, is one of the first tennis players to leave the Chinese state system, as well as being the first Chinese player to reach the semi-finals at Wimbledon. Learn more about her decision here.
